The respective law has entered into force on July 03, 2018. The changes are in particular the following:

• from this moment there are no restrictions regarding the term within which the medium and small business entities leasing state and municipal real estate can use their preemptive right to purchase such real estate;
• the specified preemptive right can be used in respect of the federal real estate as well;
• there is no more reference to the specific date – July 01, 2015, which was established as a date on which the real estate should being leased by a medium and small business entity continually during two or more years in accordance with a lease contract (for realization of the preemptive right). From this moment such condition of continuous lease shall be observed on the date of submitting the application on realization of the preemptive right.
