From December 01, 2018 the restriction provided by the Federal Law of July 24, 2007 No. 209-FZ “On development of small and medium-sized businesses in the Russian Federation” in respect of the total participation share of foreign companies in the charter capital of small and medium-sized business entities (49%), shall not be applicable to foreign companies which income and average number of employees for the previous calendar year do not exceed the limits established for medium enterprises (except for offshore companies).
The list of business entities in which the abovementioned foreign companies have the participation shares shall be provided by registrars (in respect of joint-stock companies) and audit organizations (in respect of limited liability companies) for the purpose of keeping the unified register of small and medium-sized business entities.
