On October 16, 2018 the amendments to the Federal Law of April 22, 1996 No. 39-FZ “On securities market” which added the mentioned law by the provisions on the new kind of obligations (structure obligations) have entered into force.
Structure obligations are obligations providing for the right of their holder to receive the payments on them depending on the fact whether one or several circumstances specified in cl. 1 p. 29 art.2 of the abovementioned law occur or fail to occur.
Structure obligations issuers can be only credit organizations, brokers, dealers and specialized financial entities which have the right to issue the structure obligations pursuant to their goals and business activity subject.
State registration of the structure obligations issues shall be performed by the Bank of Russia.
